Everyone is a poser and curates their life to varying degrees. On a perhaps unrelated note, I have 2 sets of the 1965 Encyclopedia Britannica (one set white, one set brown). If you’d like one set to strategically place in your bookshelves, LMK. No charge.
Oh my gosh that is so generous of you! I'm actually moving out of my small apartment soon, so maybe you could hold onto them until I have more room (and won't have to move those bad boys twice!) I'll be getting new shelves for my new place bc my current shelf is already double-sided and overflowing onto all my window sills 😆
Beautifully said. I have realized that so many of the 'spiritual' and 'philosophical' creators I follow across various platforms are just as curated and perhaps inauthentic as an Instagram model. It's just the specific niche that happened to land them a platform. Not to say I dislike all of the content; much of it is very interesting and enjoyable to consume. However, I find myself irked when the comments act like the creator is some untouchable Guru, when that is 100% not the reality... I think it's best to enjoy the content how you want, but not necessarily accept everything as truth!
The courage to be genuinely humble and curious can lead to some interesting spaces
I truly feel no one does that better than Rick Rubin. He’s so, so, so inspiring—such egolessness

Of course. I emailed you under a separate thread to discuss.
Taking this off comments now. We can figure it out at your convenience.
Can I message you my address.
